Your picture is very arty, light from the outside is a very nice "source". If you can put a piece of white poster board or white foam core on the other side of the cat, it adds "fill" light, and just allows for a little more detail on the cat's right side.

I love the picture the way it is, I just think it would also be cool to see another picture where a wee more detail on the other side of the cat's face could be seen.

Well, to get the shot I envision would probably result in the cat having already left before you shot the picture, or the cats expression would not have been the same.

You definitely captured a moment in time with your shot.

Is that a curly Q under the cat's right eye?

If you could have a print made where they try and bring out the left side of the face just a wee bit more, you could enter the picture in some photo contest.

the curly Q is simply debris on my scanner, similar
to the random small, dots on the piccie...
compliments of binx, herself.

i had noticed the debris AFTER i had posted the
pic, and since you have yet to own your board,
i didn't feel like editing.

i think it's kinda cool how that lint (??) created
that image on her face. eerie.

after your last post about lightening the left
side of the pic, i screwed around with the pic
in my screwing-around-with-pics program.

the result was less than favorable.
